Mortal Comeback / No Access

Been a minute, but here are couple of tracks that I've been loving lately. First off, a massive relatively new tune by one of my favorites, sir Laidback Luke & secondly, perhaps, in my opinion Michael Woods greatest work to date. A beautiful fusion of house/progressive techno that is highlighted by its contrasting snythy riffs and heavyyy bass lines...this track is a fuckin monster! Enjoy these two - they'll be sure to stick around the top of your play count all summer.

Rollin’ In the Deep

Two versions of the British soul-singer Adele's, 'Rolling in the Deep', brought to us by Jamie XX of the XX and mystery man dBerrie. Jamie XX's remix features Donald Glover [pictured above] who raps under the alias, Childish Gambino. Glover has had an extremely successful career writing for the show 30 Rock and starring on the NBC series Community. He has some serious potential and really kills it on the track. However, despite Glover's raw flow, the dBerrie remix absolutely takes the cake here - I've had it on repeat for a good month now and finally have decided to release it to the DxE audience. Both are worthy of a spot in your music collection, but don't expect nearly the same sound - as dBerrie's is a massive house banger (perhaps my favorite release of 2011), while Jamie XX's spin on it is based on an underground hip-hop/indie influence. Cheers n shout to my girl, Almeida, for finding the dBerrie gem :]

Feed Me

One of the first original members of Mau5trap records, Jon Gooch aka "Feed Me" was long thought to be one of Mau5's aliases. Not only is Feed Me not the Mau5, but its actually Gooch's second alias as he first began his career releasing under the name "Spor". I've already fallen in love with the electro and dub sounds of Feed Me and he's definitely atop my "must see" list for EDC Saturday night. Check out these bangers and I'm sure you'll agree. Oh and Happy Mother's Day to all your mothers out there.

Bundle o’ Aoki

The founder of and driving force behind Dim Mak Records, sir Steve Aoki, has not received proper recognition for his invaluable contribution to the evolution of electronic music over the last decade. Put simply, the man has an eye [or ear?] for talent; like the Bloody Beetroots, MSTRKRFT, Crookers, Mustard Pimp? Thank SteveO here for bringing their sounds, as well as many others, to the states. Aoki's always hard at work and always having a great time, captivating live audiences with a take no prisoners rock-n-roll attitude that has brilliantly blended into the electro-house genre. Here's some goodies to add to your collection of bangers - whatever you decide, don't pass up on his remix of Duran Duran - Cheers

Here's a round-up of all the remixes that bang the hardest. Yes, thats T-Pain on the vocal track.  I demand you listen to the John Dahlback remix, there's a few HUGE drops. The Congorock mix is also great, they still use those loud saw synths that make you want to double-fistpump.

Selecta – Afrojack

New Afrojack. Need I say more? Dare I say he took a page out of Wolfgang's book with this one... spacejunk anyone - the drop of both tracks is initiated by one exclamation - selecta & spacejunk and  even hits at the exact same time, 1:44?!? Curious... Regardless big time banger right here, get down to this!
