It's not too often that Sunday night becomes one of the hottest nights to go out in Los Angeles. But when celebrating the birthdays of 3 of the biggest names in Hollywood, it can almost be guaranteed that all rules go out the window. Last night, Russian Rob, Igor Zag and Eli Wehbe -- owners of LA's newest hotspot Sound -- capped off a weekend full of celebrations by bringing in Australia's own Dragan Roganović, better known as Dirty South. The man himself came on just passed midnight as the work week had officially begun; no one in the entire venue even seemed to notice as the place erupted at the very sight of him taking the decks. Following up on the opening set, he slowly lulled the crowd with a tech/deep house opening couple of tracks before unleashing a perfect combination of Dirty South classics, new singles from his debut artist album Speed of Life and (what seemed like) a whole array of never before heard IDs, remixes and mashups. Everyone got to enjoy the familiar sounds of tracks such as "Walking Alone," "Devil's Work," and "Silvia," all the while bouncing and jumping around to remixes of tracks along the likes of "Nillionaire" by Alesso and "Alive," a DS and Thomas Gold collaboration. All in all, the Sound crew was able to turn any old 'Sunday bloody Sunday' until one of the best Sunday nights I've been witness to in quite sometime (not to mention that some familiar faces such as Avicii decided to join in on the party). Happy birthday to the big 3 from all of us here at DxE!

Avicii – UMF
Right before Ultra kicks off, Avicii unleashes the official name of his track labeled "ID" which has been floating around the internet for some time now.
Here it is, and also check out the 2013 Ultra Music Festival's VA Album
Avicii Computer Stolen
It happens to the best of us. Last night, Tim Bergling (Avicii) tweeted that his computer was stolen with at least 8 unfinished tracks. As any producer knows the most tedious part about losing everything is re-pirating (**cough**) and re-installing all your VST's. Poor dude.
Here's the tweets:
ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL Announces Complete Phase 1 Line-Up with Additions!!
New Year’s weekend saw the much-anticipated Phase 1 Lineup of Ultra Music Festival’s Miami showdown make its way around the World Wide Web like wildfire after Avicii leaked the lineup online. If there was ever an excuse to slap ‘viral’ on an announcement then this was it! One week after the Internet frenzy, and the world’s premier electronic dance music festival can now confirm artists that will be performing throughout the 6-day/2-weekend marathon of sound, light and dance. Over the weekends of March 15-17 and March 22-24, Downtown Miami plays host to the event’s 15th year with an unparalleled bill of the best DJs, live acts and future talent this planet has to offer.
The world is already aware that this year’s edition of the iconic festival will mark the final curtain for Swedish House Mafia, who’ve chosen Ultra Music Festival as the ‘One Last Tour’ finale to end where it once began (Ultra Music Festival at Bicentennial Park in 2010). Expect an unforgettable performance created specially for Ultra Music Festival by deadmau5, one of the industry’s most in-demand talents who returns to close out both Saturday nights. Luminaries who have aided in shaping the movement make appearances across BOTH weekends include Tiësto, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and Avicii as well as (in alphabetical order): Above & Beyond, Afrojack, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim, Kaskade, Knife Party and Richie Hawtin. Of course, Ultra Music Festival wouldn’t be complete without the essential Carl Cox & Friends Arena, which has been announced in addition to Armin van Buuren’s (the world’s #1 DJ) A State Of Trance 600 Arena. Mixmag—the world’s indispensible clubbing bible—will also slam into the sunshine with an area of their own and who can forget the #1 club in the world, Space Ibiza, bringing Phase 1 of Ultra’s 15th Anniversary to close with the return of their own Space Ibiza Arena.
It is not only the cosmic DJ talent that ensures Ultra Music Festival’s growth year after year, it’s also the LIVE elements that entice thousands of revelers to the Festival’s sun-kissed terrain. This year, and again in alphabetical order, live performances includes: The Bloody Beetroots, Booka Shade, Boys Noize, Crystal Castles, Disclosure, DJ Fresh Live, Hot Chip, Major Lazer, Matt & Kim, Modestep, Rudimental, Thievery Corporation, and Yeasayer. All acts are confirmed to make appearances; some returning after more than a year’s absence and some making grand debuts, thus proving the forward-thinking and finger-on-the-pulse nature of Ultra’s festival organizers. These lineups showcase Ultra’s ability to consistently deliver on talent, both fresh and established!

Mysteryland 2012 Aftermovie Out Now!
As the gates opened at 11 am sharp, and as the sun shone down on the 19th edition of Holland's 'jewel in the crown' festival, 60,000 lucky ticket holders made their way to the stunning location of Haarlemmermeer for what was to be a day no-one will ever forget.
Out went the Main Stage this year, and in came the Big Top instead! A tent so big that it housed in excess of 16,000 party people, not forgetting those that danced around the entire perimeter for the duration of the day! Avicii and Fedde Le Grand amongst others were just some of the names to rock the enormous indoor crowd, complete with state of the art lighting and pyrotechnics.
In addition, no stone was left unturned with regards to planning for the weather this year, especially considering the downfall of many 2012 festivals due to the rain! Extra concrete was laid to widen footpaths throughout the entire site, diminishing the need for anyone to traipse through mud and water. What's more, 12 of the 14 stages this year were indoors meaning that nobody needed stand in the rain when the heavens opened.
As Mysteryland prepares to spread its wings and export its magic into countries such as Chile, Denmark, Brazil, North America, Asia and Argentina, it's time now to reflect on what was without a doubt a very special day.
Take 5 minutes out of your day, sit back and relive.
Avicii feat. Mike Posner- Stay With You
Looks like Avicii has a new single that is sure to make major news on the North American radio waves. I anticipate this track to become a huge single this year. People have something to look forward too with Avicii's sold out show in Santa Monica just a week away!

Be sure to keep your eyes open for upcoming UMF TV Episodes and video exclusives.
