Showtek 2012 MegaMix

Showtek 2012 Mega Mix

The first to ever introduce to me to the genre of Hardstyle, brothers Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen, better known as Showtek, bring an alternative side of Dutch EDM producers that we have become so accustomed to. The boys hit it HUGE in 2012, demonstrating that their hardstlye sounds could be easily transformed into massive bangers even with the new electro/house scene. Working with respected artists such as Tiesto and Hardwell on "Hell Yeah" and "How We Do" respectively, as well as newcomers Justin Prime and Bassjackers for "Cannonball" and "Hey!" they've had quite the number of singles and remixes hit the charts this past year.

To wrap it all up in this precious 1 and a half hour ball, the two have recently put out their "2012 MegaMix" - featuring not only their own tracks and remixes, but quite possibly the best collection of 2012 hits, or should we perhaps call them "classics" now in 2013. 93 minutes of pure excitement and bliss, the Janssen brothers have made a statement that they are back with a vengeance  heading into the new year - cannot wait to see what they've got in store for us next.

If you like what you hear and wanna take it with you on the road you can snag it off the boys' iTunes page.

Be sure to peep their brand new Rage Mix of "Cannonball" featuring Justin Prime, now available for FREE download below ;)

Maximal Crazy Remixes

I love when really successful DJs like Tiesto or Swedish House Mafia come out with great original mixes because it usually leads to some banger remixes too! Tiesto's latest and greatest - "Maximal Crazy" - has just had the latest treatment done by some of my favorite Electro DJs at the moment, including: Bassjackers and another one by Swanky Tunes & R3hab. Both of these are very dirty while keeping the basic melody of the original. Check them out:
