Here's another installment of the Friday Pregame. This weekend has some killer shows lined up in Southern California. Tonight, you can go see the much hyped Grum play at the weekly Control at Avalon, along with a DJ set by Miami Horror. Tomorrow night in San Diego, LED presents Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso at 4th and B. If you were at Petco Park on Halloween, I think you can agree LED puts on stellar events! (aside from the brutal line at will call which I thankfully skipped.)
Happy 11/11/11, now go get down!
CONTROL presents Grum and Miami Horror (DJ set)
For someone who only released his first track two years ago, Grum's rise to prominence has been one of Justice-style proportions. Since tracks such as "Heartbeats" first started appearing on blogs like Discodust, Grum's music has been in such demand that HYPE MACHINE calculated he was the second most blogged act in the world, behind Radiohead.

LED Presents Sebastian Ingrosso + Alesso
Although I am personally waiting for the upcoming Insomniac Enhanced Concert Series with the same billing on 12/10, if you live in San Diego or wouldn't mind seeing the #26 and #70 ranked DJs in the world respectively twice, here is your shot. Ingrosso and the rest of the Swedish House Mafia have had a hell of a year (to put it as mildly as possible), and Alesso made the absolute most of his 30 minute set on the main stage at EDC, sandwiched in between Avicii and the aforementioned SHM.
And lets not forget the proverbial elephant in the room, Ingrosso and Alesso's banger Calling, which was first played live at EDC while the sky was a whirlwind of lasers.
Here's some more Alesso for you:
