This is the first collaboration track between the sexy Nervo girls and the dutchman whose been taking over Beatport's charts. Expect big mainroom synths and grimey basslines on this golden goose egg released under Nicky's record label.
Nicky Romero is one of the hottest upcoming dj's/producers and has been showing us his genius through such tracks as "Toulouse", "Camorra","Beta", and "Human". Nicky Romero's brings us a dose of wombs and synths in his new collab with Calvin Harris. It has a similar sound to his previous collaboration with David Guetta in a song called "Metropolis" but the vocals of Calvin Harris adds to the epic big room drop. This is out on September 10 on Protocol recordings.
Fedde le Grand is well and truly hitting all the right notes as he joins forces with fellow Dutch ace Nicky Romero on their brand new collaboration, 'Sparks', providing one of the biggest tracks of the summer.
'Sparks' underlines the continuing dominance of both artists across the exploding world of EDM. Shuddering with thundering rhythmic bass sections and soaring crescendos of orchestral synths, the single is le Grand and Romero at their most epic and is bound to be one of the most frequent flyers on festival, club and Ibiza sound systems over the coming summer months.
Fedde le Grand & Nicky Romero - 'Sparks' is out now exclusively through beatport on Flamingo Records. Also, make sure to look out for the vocal version featuring Matthew Koma (featured in the video above) which will be released on August 6th.
Miami Music Week has traditionaly been a time for the world's best DJs to come together under the Miami sun to showcase their skills behind the decks. This year, they'll also be showcasing their skills on the soccer field! As I write this post, teams comprised of top talent representing the Netherlands and Sweden are facing off for charity and the fight against AIDS.
The kill is incomparable as Dutch captain Tiesto leads his teammates Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Quintino, Sidney Samson, R3hab, Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano against Swedish captain Sebastian Ingrosso and his teammates Alesso, Adrian Lux, Dada Life (Stefan and Olie), AN21, and Otto Knows. The game will consist of two 30-minute periods with a ten minute break in between.
Each team will play in the signature colors of their country and will have a custom jersey made especially for this event. At the end of the game each jersey will be signed by each participant in the game and auctioned by (RED) with all proceeds going to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. (RED) is currently focusing its efforts on helping to end the transmission of HIV from moms to their babies by 2015, one of the markers of "the beginning of the end of AIDS." For more details about the auction follow (RED) on Twitter @joinred.
The game will be filmed, with highlights and interviews with the players going live on (RED)'s Youtube Channel the following week. **We'll be sure to keep you posted when those go viral**
Let the debate begin... who will win dance music's ultimate battle of bragging rights - Team Netherlands or Team Sweden?

Back from hiatus with fresh new bootlegs for you all. Sorry it's been a few weeks, hope everyone's had a great start to 2012. A little bit of old school mixed in with this pack, along with the newest mashup by our very own Skipper aka BlackBlueGold. Back with a vengeance, hope these get your week started right. Cheers.
Much like for the SSP, making it up to everyone for missing a week. Mash on mash on mash on mash-- mashes for days. And with finals coming up with this week for some and in the next coming weeks for the the rest, these are definitely coming at the most crucial of times. Good luck on those amigos.
Above is a clip of Avicii dropping his latest banger at DC's Super Glow. Apparently the song is a collaboration with bigtime up n comer Nicky Romero called 'Fuck School'. Definitely fit to be a night life anthem at festivals, clubs, and shows around the world -- it also doesn't hurt that it includes the forever recognizable lyrics of Justice's 'D.A.N.C.E!' I've found a rip of the track and we'll be sure to throw up the full release when it comes our way. Cheers!
Yet another Monday rolls through, which can only mean there are more mashups to share with everyone. This week's volume includes a bunch of new tracks that have blown up over the past couple of months, mixed and mashed with lyrics and tracks you might never even think would go with em. Hope this helps get your week started right, cheers.
Too late to even begin writing a description but you already know the drill. Enjoy this bangin' pack ranging across the house, electro and tronce genres we all know and love (plus the newest of the news from Kaskade and his Music Monday mash ups). Oh and just so you have the heads up... look out cuz BIG things coming soon from DxE Stay thirsty hombres.
Beta is a perfect blend of Hardwell's massive synths and Nicky Romero's minimal dutch style. What does the Netherlands put in their water to churn out such epic DJ/producers?
With the recent happenings at EDC Dallas, EDM lovers and rave goers begin to look forward to the massive of all EDC massives - EDC Las Vegas, taking place this upcoming weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. With the expected crowds, one can only wonder what insanity will ensue and hope that no youngsters ruin the show. It's EDC Week according to Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, so I'm gonna make it the same here at DxE with a daily rundown of artists I'm most looking forward to seeing. Kicking it off with the young Dutchman Nicky Romero, whose style I've grown to love more and more with each one of his jams. Can't wait to catch him closing out the entire weekend on Sunday 4:30-6 AM at the Kinetic Field.
PS. Nicky will be throwing down a pre-EDC set this Monday at Playhouse in Hollywood with special guest Justin Michael. Check out the flyer to the right and get your tix here
